Hamilton was rendered a poorer place with the passing of long time resident Andy Mackay on Tuesday 18th March. Andy was born in Paisley, Scotland in 1936 and arrived in New Zealand with his parents at the age of 17 in 1953. Although he soon became an ardent Kiwi supporter, especially of the All Blacks and Waikato, he remained intensely proud of his Mackay heritage.
